Aeras Sensory Room has been designed for the Alfreton community focusing on Adults and Children with Disabilities which can be or a combination of Physical, Sensory, cognitive, mental health or ASD.

· Individuals with Sensory Processing Disorders:
The controlled sensory environment provides a safe space for sensory exploration and regulation.

· People with Anxiety or Stress: The calming stimuli can help alleviate symptoms of anxiety and stress.

· Children and Adults with Autism: The sensory room offers a supportive environment for sensory integration and comfort.

· Mindfulness Practitioners: The room enhances mindfulness practices by providing a serene atmosphere.

· Anyone Seeking Relaxation: The sensory room is perfect for anyone looking to unwind and find inner peace.

Come and immerse yourself in a world of calm and relaxation.

We only offer private sessions and group bookings to ensure a personalized and enjoyable experience for all visitors. We encourage bookings of 6-8 people to ensure everybody who uses the sensory Den gets a fulfilled experience. If you wish to book a larger group please let us know to discuss the arrangement prior to booking.

The most beautiful space with something for everyone. Maz & Co are always trying to think of new and engaging resources and it's always kept to an exceptionally high standard. We love our visits to the sensory den!

Absolutely loved the sensory den yesterday. The children didn’t even want to leave! They loved all the lights, the swinging chair, and the calming atmosphere. My children usually get overwhelmed in busy soft plays, but being able to hire the whole room really helped them relax and enjoy themselves. The lady who showed us around was lovely. We’ll definitely be back!

Another fantastic visit to the Aera Sensory Den.
We brought along my niece and my brother, who is in a motorised wheelchair, along with my own 2 SEND children.
There's so much space, tactile toys and things to do, the hour went so quickly.
